ok so i've been gone, and google took over this site also? is google the new microsoft? i know its the #1 company to work for, but damn! Google was a cool thing when it was search engine, but now they are everywhere. Well good for them as long as they dont conform and become the evil empire that most become.

Tate Modern, you old rascal you!

For the last several months music has been hit with a rash a really bad rock balladesque songs. There is 3 that come to mind. One is "through glass" by Stone Sour. If you dont know much about this band, let me tell ya. Its fronted by the singer of a Slipnot. If you've heard Slipnot then listened to Stone Sour you'd want to punch Corey Taylor in the face. What puss bitch rock music this is! If your band has headlined a show that included papa roach, linkin park, and disturbed, dont be hardcore then put out this crap.

Next is Hinders' "lips of an Angel". God i hate this song! Everything about this song makes me wanna tear my hair out. Its not even a song, he could speak these words without singing them. Make lyrics up for god sake. Are you that lazy? Now these yahoos will live off this one song for the rest of there lives. Assholes!

Last is Blue October "Hate Me". Now this song isnt that bad. But it could be so much more harder and edgier. But these guys sing like pusses. Get a set of balls. Take a lesson from Three Days Grace. Listen to thier songs and see how its done.

Music has been in a decline. I'm hoping within the next year something new comes around. I've heard rumors of new boybands coming around. I guess they are due.

Now i came across an article that was titled "ART with a soundtrack". A little history before i tell about the article. probably about 3-4 months ago i was at work at quadrant and i was listening to my Ipod. I was listening to Disturbed or 30 seconds to Mars, one of those, and i was thinking about when i was going to start painting or drawing again. one idea let into another, and i finally thought, this song(the one i was currently listening to)would be great to play at an exhibit, my exhibit. To have an album or a collection of music be specific for my art. instead of having some know-it-all tell me what i was feeling or thinking when i did this piece, i could let them know by playing the type of music to convey that. Brilliant, right? i thought so. and i had intentions on doing some research to see if this idea has ever been put into play. But of course i got sidetracked and never did. Now just a couple of days ago i come across this article that the Tate Modern(http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/tatetracks/) is doing just this thing! That is fucking mind blowing. Now im not saying that im inovative, but its just weird that i was thinking this and the idea is being used by a major gallery. I really think this should be done more often, and actually become commomplace. You wanna find a way to get a younger generation into a gallery and try and reach some, i think more and more artist should do this. It could break a relative unknown wide open, and give some of us hope of making it without knowing somebody who knows somebody.

a couple more reasons why this country is all screwed up

I guess several months ago a bunch of geniuses decided to break ground on a "new" yankee stadium. To me this sounds like blasphemy! Why why why why why why why why why! Would you tear down the acropolis in greece to make room for condos? NO! or maybe the eiffel tower and build a new one cause the old one is a little dingy. What i dont understand is they arent changing anything except putting more luxury boxes. But everything is gonna stay the same. The dimensions of the field. its not gonna hold too many more than the old stadium. and there even bringing some of the design from when it was originally built in the 20's. So then why build a new stadium! Yankee stadium is legendary in sports history. Its the house that Ruth built. whats its nickname gonna be now, the house that steinbrenner and bloomberg built. Real nice ring to that. whatever. Now im gonna definitely gonna have to see a game next season before the new one is built. Assholes.



By second biggest disappointment is the fact that CBGB's is gone. Another institution in NYC that is gone. What are we looking at 33-34 years!!!!! that they were in around. They are/were rock. I mean that place was a haven for rockers and for true punk to live and breathe. Most famously the Ramones put that place on the map. And one of the last shows to grace that place was the Bouncing Souls and Bad Brains. WOW! i would have loved to have gone to that show. I can happily say that i went there 4 years ago. No lie that place gave me goosebumps when i walked in there. History and mystique lined that place. I remember walking down into that disgusting awful bathroom and seeing signatures from bands that played there. I remember seeing 5 bands that night and now i wonder if any have made it. One band, it was there last performance before moving out to L.A. to try and make it big. All local, all underground and hungry to make it. But now that is gone. And because some dick landlord who's only concern is money, booted them out. I wish now i had picked up at CBGB's shirt when i was there. At the time i thought it was tacky and i'd be like every other stupid mark trying to be cool. Not now. It would be a tribute and an honor to wear there shirt.

And things like this are allowed to happen everyday in America. Institutions in each and every city are being pushed out and torn down for something new and flashier. Is nothing sacred? we can make a stupid old house a landmark, but not someplace that actually has meaning and memories. Ridiculous.

and one last tidbit for you all. For those that hadnt heard, the founder/creator of YouTube just sold it for a ridiculous 1.6 billions dollars. Nice huh? I'm gonna go be sick now.

OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA SYMPTOMS:

Frequent visits to the bathroom during the night.

Severe mood swings from depression to irritability to anger.

Obesity In many cases. Although some slim people do suffer from sleep apnea the majority are overweight or obese.

Low sex drive and a general lack of energy.

Dry mouth and sore throat in the morning from sleeping with the mouth open, snoring and gasping for air.

Lack of concentration and forgetfulness from sleep deprivation.

Morning headaches

For those that know, I have a sleeping problem(snoring to be exact). Well the last several months its been increasingly worse, and more of a problem. I have a good job, I have love in my life, and goals. I still have the basic worries, but who doesnt. But my interests have dwindled, my goals are in the backseat, no interest for anything. I have to force myself to go out, or i wouldnt. Im tired all the time, i'm falling asleep while driving more frequently. Nothing is there! I'm frustrated everynight, lying awake then falling asleep a couple hours before i have to go to work. Or sleeping till 1 before i have to go into work on a late day. I havent drawn anything since last year. I try to go and draw and all i get is crap! What im going through is more than lack of motivation. Something is wrong, but what?

I'm looking into things to see what things can help. First off breathe right strips dont work! Looking into the thyroid and hormones to see if there out of whack. There is something wrong with my system, and i dont have health insurance to have it medically checked out, so for now it'll have to be done naturally.

Wow! really has been a long time since ive posted. so lets see. nothing really exciting has been happening to me. its just normal life as usual. I did however get a raise and im bumped up to full time at work. what this means is not as much as you think. Full time here means 35 hours, and the raise was only slight, not as much as what i originally thought. but its a start. and its not till next month.

last month i did however got out to california with sean. by now you've seen most of what has happened to me(see seans blog for more details). The ride out there was fairly interesting. Wyoming seems like the last piece of wilderness in america. everything is so desolate. the lightning we saw was enormous. i can truly imagine was poineers and explorers felt when they traveled out here. Nebraska, nebraska needs to fix there road system. what a cockass piece of crap that system is. Utah is hilly! When a roadway system has a out of control/lost your brakes lane, you better be concerned. And California, well its California. hasnt changed since i was there last. The IN n OUT burgers still taste soooo good! Finally got to go to Trader Joes. had some of there Two Buck Chuck(2 dollar wine). it was ok.

Its really fairly uninteresting here. Next month should be more interesting. got some things lined up. Oh and its "the wedding" this weekend. kristen gets to show me off, and i get to embarass the shit out of her. Its gonna be great! Maybe i'll have some good stories from that to tell. Was funny at first, but now im just annoyed

I have a slight rant to go on right now, and i'm not directing at any of you, just putting it out the there.

For about a week now, i have been getting 4-5 calls a day on my cell phone from random out of state numbers, some are restricted, others come up unavailable. When i have been able to pick up the call its always from some place solicitng something. But for some reason they have my number, my unlisted cell phone number. Someone, somewhere, somehow has my number and has been signing me up for shit i never applied for. The first one was University of Pheonix online. Now these fuckers had my cell number and work number, thats fucked up! Next i had a call from the US Army. Now there getting me in trouble with the government. Then i have i gotten several more University calls and the rest i ignore. I actually had Sean pick up one of the calls the other day and had him fuck with them. You know at first i thought pretty good prank. But the calls havent stopped. I tell them to stop calling and they call back a couple of days later. This my phone. It costs money! Also ive gotten a couple of spam texts. Jesus Christ! That has to be illegal, that shit definitely costs people additional money. im just saying, things have gotten out of hand. Quick fucking with my pocket book and my time. Just stop it already.
